Important Message from the New Committee. (Oliver Mc Kenna, Jim Dunne, Val Lawlor, Ursula Hill, Ed Connolly, Shane Mc Loughlin)
The new committee have been busy over the summer, as DYFC prepare for the new Season. One of the major new initiatives is that you can now pay your 100 Euro Subscription on-line, using the above link. The committee would encourage you to do that as soon as you can.
Please note that we have chosen to keep the Subscription at 100 Euro, even though there is small charge to the club for using the on-line System. It will have huge benefits. It will make it more convenient for you the parents and adult players to pay your subscriptions, but will also reduce the workload of our hard working treasurer (Val) and also the managers and secretaries trying to collect and issue receipts etc.We have also added the facility to pay in four 25 euro installments , if that suits you better. If you have already paid by Cash or Cheque, we thank you for that, and we will be in contact shortly so that we can record that payment on our new system and issue an online receipt to you. If you still wish to pay by Cash or Cheque you can still do that, but first please log into the system and add the new membership. When it comes to payment option select cash or cheque. You can give the Cash Or Cheque to the Manager & we will then Reflect that in the system, and you will get an on-line confirmation that you have paid.
This new system is much more than simply an online payment system, it will allow the club to communicate much better with all of you, and you with us, You will notice as you go through the system, it will ask you if you wish to volunteer and help out. DYFC urgently need a few more people to help out, so please consider ticking this box if you feel you can help out now or in the future. There will be more initiatives form us over the coming weeks, including the publication of a news letter, revamped website and integrating this new system with Facebook and Twitter etc. (A social media makeover).
Please have no concerns about data- security, your personal data is totally secure and is held on the myclubfinances servers. They are an established company with over 1000 clubs and associations using their system.
The system is the same as Dunshaughlin GAA use, so if you already pay a subscription, or lotto using their system, you will esentially have “one account” where you can see all your payment history etc.
We will decide the need for an information evening on the system if its needed, but it really is as simple as booking a Ryanair flight or ordering a book on Amazon.
You will notice that when you select Add new membership for any underage team (up to and including U18) it will also create a non-playing membership account, (zero cost)to enable you to make the the payment for the player being registered.
Please contact any of the Committee or managers if you have any questions.
Finally the very best of luck for the new season, that is fast approaching, and remember to enjoy the games.
Oliver Mc Kenna (Chairperson- DYFC )
